1. Introduction and Acceptance
Welcome to Pathora ("Platform", "we", "us", "our"). Pathora is operated by [Company Legal Name], a company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
By accessing or using pathora.net (the "Site") or any related mobile applications or services, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
Pathora is a marketplace that connects individuals seeking personal or professional guidance ("Mentees") with experienced advisors and mentors ("Mentors") for paid one-on-one sessions. The Platform facilitates discovery, booking, session management, and payment processing. Pathora does not itself provide mentorship, advisory, or professional services — it enables connections between users.
3. Eligibility
To use Pathora you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law
- Not be prohibited from receiving services under applicable law
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
4. Account Registration
4.1 Account Creation
You must create an account to access core features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately at [support email] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account.
4.3 One Account Per User
Each user may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspension, restrictions, or fees is prohibited.
5. User Roles
5.1 Mentees
Mentees are users who book and pay for sessions with Mentors. Mentees may browse Mentor profiles, initiate intro messages, request sessions, and submit reviews.
5.2 Mentors
Mentors are users who offer advisory or mentorship sessions through the Platform. Mentors must:
- Complete the Mentor verification process (see Section 6)
- Set session types, availability, and pricing within Platform guidelines
- Maintain a professional standard of conduct during sessions
- Honor booked sessions except where cancellation policies allow
Mentors are independent service providers and are not employees, contractors, or agents of Pathora. Pathora does not supervise, direct, or control the content or outcome of Mentor sessions.
6. Mentor Verification
To list services on Pathora, Mentors must submit verification documents that may include:
- Government-issued photo identification
- Business registration or commercial license (where applicable)
- Proof of income or professional credentials
Submission of documents constitutes consent for Pathora to review, store, and process them for the purpose of platform integrity. Pathora reserves the right to approve, reject, or suspend Mentor accounts at its discretion.
7. Sessions
7.1 Session Types
Pathora currently supports the following session formats (availability may vary by Mentor):
- Introductory message exchange — pre-booking async contact
- Paid sessions — structured meetings booked through the Platform
7.2 Booking
Sessions are booked through the Platform using Mentor-defined availability. Bookings are confirmed upon successful payment authorization.
7.3 Mentor–Mentee Relationship
The relationship formed through a session is solely between the Mentee and the Mentor. Pathora is not a party to that relationship. Mentors are not licensed therapists, financial advisors, legal professionals, or medical practitioners unless they independently hold those qualifications. Users should exercise independent judgment in acting on any advice received.
8. Payments
8.1 Platform Commission
Pathora charges Mentors a 15% platform commission on each completed session. This fee is deducted automatically from the session payment before disbursement to the Mentor.
8.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Moyasar (a licensed payment service provider in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). By making or receiving payments on the Platform, you also agree to Moyasar's terms and policies.
8.3 Currency and Taxes
All prices are displayed in Saudi Riyals (SAR) unless otherwise stated. Users are responsible for any applicable taxes on payments they send or receive through the Platform.
8.4 Refund Policy
Mentee refunds:

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the session date. Pathora's decision on refund disputes is final.
Mentor payouts: Payouts are processed after session completion subject to a standard holding period. Disputed funds may be held until resolution.
9. Contact Reveal
Contact information (WhatsApp number, email) is not shared by default. Contact reveal is unlocked when:
- A Mentee completes a paid session with a Mentor, or
- The Platform determines that a qualifying engagement threshold has been met
Contact details may only be used for communication directly related to mentorship. Using revealed contact information for unsolicited marketing, spam, or any purpose unrelated to the session is prohibited and may result in account termination.
10. Content Standards
10.1 User-Generated Content
You may post reviews, messages, profile content, and other materials ("Content") on the Platform. You retain ownership of your Content but grant Pathora a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your Content for the purpose of operating the Platform.
10.2 Prohibited Content
You must not post or transmit Content that:
- Is false, misleading, or deceptive
- Is obscene, defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory
- Infringes intellectual property rights of any party
- Contains malware, phishing links, or malicious code
- Promotes illegal activities
- Solicits users to transact outside the Platform to avoid fees
Pathora may remove Content that violates these standards at any time without notice.
11. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or access controls
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract Platform data
- Create fake profiles or impersonate any person or entity
- Conduct or facilitate transactions outside the Platform to bypass commissions
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
12. Account Suspension and Termination
12.1 By Pathora
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without prior notice if you:
- Violate these Terms or applicable law
- Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behaviour
- Fail to maintain accurate account information
- Receive sustained negative ratings or unresolved complaints
Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases. We may retain data as required by law or legitimate operational purposes (see Privacy Policy).
12.2 By You
You may close your account at any time by submitting a deletion request via your account settings or by calling the data deletion API at `DELETE /api/me`. Outstanding payment obligations survive account closure.
13. Intellectual Property
All Platform software, designs, trademarks, and content not created by users belong to Pathora or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for its intended purposes. No other rights are granted.
14. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE. PATHORA DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF MENTOR PROFILES, THE QUALITY OF SESSIONS, OR THE ACHIEVEMENT OF ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PATHORA AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PATHORA IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) SAR 500.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
